It was a typical family holiday for us. The kids ran around laughing, doing the things kids like to do. The men stretched out, anticipating the feast ahead. The women were bustling between the kitchen and dining room. We had spent a day or two preparing and it barely took an hour to cat! Now, you have 70 days to lose the few pounds you've gained, before Christmas. Don't wait until it's too late. It will be here before you know it. Wednesday's Euchre Card Party had some fine results. Vera Downey was the first place winner with 85. Vera also had the Most Lone Hands of four. Bill Woolley was second second with 81. Bcmicc Wells was next with a score of 78. Gladys Potts and Wilma Goync tied for fourth with 76. Betty Kuycr was the night's Most Honest Player. The Special Special was won by Clarence Bray. The new girls have been learning the Guide Promise Promise and other necessary things. On Thursday, the girls made ornamental com husk dolls.
