We must all strive to meet the challenges of our time. At 9:00 p.m. the draw for our Pat Best Painting with proceeds proceeds for A.C.W.W. was held. Pat Best pulled the winning ticket, that of W.I. member ' Jean Knox. Presentation of the beautiful painting was then made to Jean Knox. Our programs continued with piano ducts by Karen Dair and Karen Metcalf. Everyone enjoyed this music. Our guests for the evening Glenn and Marion L armer were introduced by Lois. Glenn gave a wonderful commentary on the slides shown by Marion of their trip to England and Scotland. This "Shepherd's Tour" mixed farm life with cattle and other livestock livestock shows and gave us a most interesting account of the countryside and city, from stone fences to stained glass of the cathedrals. The winner of the painting was Jean Knox, R.R 1, Hampton, pictured at left. Proceeds from this event, a total of $1062.00, were raised for Associated Country Women of the World for an A.C.W.W. project called "Women Feed the World." Solina W.
