President Marilyn Dow opened the meeting with a meditation after which we all sang Grace before enjoying an ample meal. Following the meal the president welcomed us followed followed by a short business meeting. Motions were made and carried to make a donation to the Salvation Army to help with their Christian work and also to the Maranatha Church for allowing us to use their building for meetings when necessary. The Roll Call - "How will you be putting the Christmas Spirit back into the Holiday season," was answered with a variety of ideas including - visiting visiting shut-ins; concentrating more on the Christ Child than Santa Claus; more giving and less receiving; enjoying family gatherings and carrying these activities over into the New Year, not just at the Christmas season. The latest assault took place on the south side of Manning Road on April 20th, 1991 at 1:00 a.m. A female pedestrian, walking eastbound, was grabbed from behind by a male person. As she walked past the rear parking lot of 312 Dundas Street she was grabbed from behind by an unknown male.
