News from Yelverton By Harvey Malcolm On Saturday afternoon, our youngest daughter, Mona Mal- colm-Sharman was the surprise recipient of one of those long- legged bird showers at the home of Ms. Cheryl Cummings Cummings of Scarborough Bluffs. Those present were all fellow co-workers of Mona's when she was an employee of the Scarborough Royal Bank, prior to moving to Bowmanvillc a year ago. 12 gals and one lonely lonely male "Lonesome George". Mona expressed her gratitude to all those present for their collection of lovely gifts presented presented to her. Mona's sister Mitze of Ajax was also present on this occasion.
