Richards Before Adam and Eve took a bite out of the fruit on the Tree of Knowledge, they were one with the environment, environment, said a local minister recently. recently. Looking at the creation story, he delved into the meaning of the word "Adam." The word comes from a Hebrew word meaning humus humus or earth. Eating the fruit from the Tree of Knowledge brought more strife than Adam and Eve could ever imagine. Not only were the two expelled expelled from the Garden of Eden, but there were plenty of issues placed before them to live with. Those social issues which plague the world today -- issues issues such as abuse, racism, and stress all came because of the incident in the Garden of Eden. However, there is hope, he told his audience of about 10. Christians who become or already are good stewards of the environment can help turn the destruction around. It is the acknowledgement of the issue that is hard, he said. "We have to get to the root of the problem." He compared the environmental environmental problem to an addiction, addiction, "Once we hit rock bottom, bottom, we can grow from there," Mr. Binncma said. However, "we're not all of the same mind to do this." Unity helps where other ideals fail.
