Wilfred Thomas "Buck" Enwright After a lengthy illness, "Buck" Enwright Enwright passed away May 27th, 1992, in Oshawa General Hospital. He was in his 56th year. Buck was the only son of the late Thomas Enwright and the late Shirley Barchard and was bom in Strathroy, Ontario. At the age of two years, Buck and his family moved to Newcastle, . Ontario, where he became an impor- , tant part of the community. Buck was an ardent fan of the Newcastle Minor Hockey League and Newcastle Figure Skating. During the winter months, the Newcastle Arena was the focal point of his life. Al- . though physically challenged, Buck- enjoyed his life in thé community and will be sadly missed by many people, especially the children who were able to communicate with him on his level. Left to mourn his passing are four sisters, Connie (Mrs. C. Little), Oshawa, Doreen (Mrs. R. Embley), Oshawa, Marilyn (Mrs. D. Walton) Newcastle and Betty (Mrs. H. Hock- ins), Port Perry. Frank Edward Smith In his 79th year, Frank Edward Smith died in Oshawa General Hospital. Hospital. on Friday, May 8, 1992. He had been ill one week. Bom in Acton and educated in Bowmanville, he was the son of the late Harry and Rhoda Smith. He was married February 17, 1937 to the late Catherine E. Stone. A resident of Bowmanville for 76 years, he had been employed at Bowmanville Bowmanville Foundry, retiring 14 years ago. He was a member of St. Johns Anglican Church and a volunteer member of the Bowmanville Fire Department Department for 27 years, retiring in 1971. Surviving are Bob and wife Gloria, Brian and wife Bonnie, Bruce and wife Marg, and Barbara, all from Bowmanville, Beverly, Oshawa, Bonnie Bonnie and Ron of Ajax, 14 grandchildren, grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a brother William of Bowmanville. Phebe Ann Skinner After an illness of two months, Phebe Ann Skinner died on Monday, June 8, 1992, at Memorial Hospital, Bowmanville in her 94th year. She was bom in Bowmanville, the daughter of Elizabeth and Thomas Moyse. On December 19, 1923, she was married to Harold Skinner of Tyrone, Tyrone, where they lived over 42 years on the Skinner farm. In February 1966, they moved to Sunnicrest Blvd., Bowmanville, where they remained until Harold's death in 1980. Phebe moved to an apartment where she stayed until 1988, when diminishing eyesight ne- ■ ccssitated her move to Mamwood Lifecare Centre.
