Richards A report and recommendations on how to deal with sexual harassment was released this week by the province's province's Ministry of Colleges and Universities. Universities. "This has been an ongoing process and now the task force behind the position position paper has been released," said Lynda Sauriol, the Director of Staff Services at Durham College. Although Ms Sauriol has not seen the report from the ministry's task' force, and could not comment on the content, she said the college had been involved with the task force while it was gathering information for the paper. "There was no one involved on the task force from Durham College,-but we were extensively involved in the draft report. We went through it line- by-line," Ms Sauriol said. "I'm not sure how it will affect Durham College until we see the report," report," she added. Durham College has been at the forefront in dealing with sexual harassment harassment and sexual discrimination since the administration put together a policy in 1984. During the next year, the college "went a step further and set up an education education program" for staff and students, Ms Sauriol said.
