Lemon Juice pieces 1 4 eggs, separated 4 1/2 cup sugar 125 mL 1 1/2 cups boiling water 375 mL 2 tsp powdered chicken TO mL 2 tbsp butter 30 mL bouillon mix 1/4 tsp cream of tartar 1 mL 1/2 tsp garlic powder 2 mL 1 cup water 250 mL 1/2 cup REALEMON 125 mL Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). In heavy saucepan, combine 1 cup (250 mL) of the sugar and corn starch; add Realemon.. Realemon.. In small bowl'beat egg yolks; add to Realemon mixture. mixture. Gradually add water, stirring stirring constantly. Over medium heat, cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Remove from heat. Add butter; stir until melted. Pour into prepared pastry shell. In small mixer bowl, beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form; gradually add remaining 1/3 cup (75 mL) sugar, beating until stiff but not dry. Spread meringue on top of pie or place meringue in large pastry bag fitted with decorative tip and pipe around edge of pie, sealing carefully to edge of shell. Gradually add water, Realemon and ketchup; mix well. Over medium heat, cook and stir until mixture boils and thickens. Keep sauce warm. Drain chicken; coat with additional additional corn starch. In large fry- pan, heat 1/2-inch (1'2 mm) oil; cook chicken, a few pieces at a time, until golden and tender. Arrange chicken on shredded lettuce; pour warm sauce over chicken. Garnish as desired.
