Edwards was elected president of the Ontario Real Estate Association (OREA) at its annual conference February February 5. Mr. Edwards is president of J.M. Edwards Associates Inc. in Burlington and has been involved in the real estate estate profession for the past 18 years. He is a member of a past-president of the Metropolitan Hamilton Real Estate Estate Board and is a Fellow of the Real Estate Institute of Canada. Household Guide To Recycling and Waste Reduction Now Available Members of the Durham Environmental Environmental Network (DEN), through funding funding from The Regional Municipality of Durham, Canada Trust, The Rotary Club of Oshawa-Parkwood and The Ontario Ministry of the Environment have completed 'A Household Guide to Waste Reduction and Recycling in Durham Region.' The purpose of the guide, is to promote an environmental awareness of the need to reduce, reuse, recycle, repair and rent. Information is offered on: Durham Region's recycling programs; composting; composting; alternatives to toxic cleaners; recycling opportunities for household articles; charitable organizations who accept used items; and rental, repair and reuse centres.
