Leading 3-1 after the first, they allowed Bowmanville to break the game open with five runs in the bottom bottom half of the second. Courtice rallied to tic the game in the third inning, but Bowmanville again answered with two of their own for an 8-6 lead. The teams traded traded runs in the fourth. Scott Pollard had a career day at the plate for Bowmanville, ripping a home run, triple and single, collecting collecting six RBI's in the process. After lots of back and forth action Tuesday night, Liberty handed Camsport Camsport game two in a 4-1 loss. Liberty's only goal came in the third from Rob Vale. The tension really mounted when the teams took to the ice Thursday night in front of a full house. Scan LcFort started the scoring for Liberty early in the first with a great shot, assisted by Ryan Mcllroy and Chris Bcnctcau. Ryan Pctrich scored an unassisted goal in the second to give Liberty a 2-0 lead. Camsport answered answered back with two goals in the second. second. Darryl Yorkc and Brett Foskctt assisted assisted Justin Roussy in bringing the Liberty fans to their feet by slamming the winning goal past Camsport, winning winning the championship game 3-2. , The two teams played an excellent scries, providing lots of excitement to their fans.
