Workshop hours are 9:30 - 4:00 each Saturday and Sunday. Both workshops are intended for Beginners Beginners and Intermediate Level students. Darlene Cole will instruct the Weekend Watercolour Workshop May 29 and 30. She is a recent graduate graduate of the Queen's University Fine Art program and a watercolour artist. Students in the course will learn how to handle this transparent medium and will experiment with colours and different textured papers, while creating still life compositions. James Spencer, the Canadian artist artist who is best known for his large acrylic paintings of waves and mountains, mountains, will instruct the Outdoor Landscape Landscape Painting workshop June 12 and 13. Students will learn how to create a pleasing composition, using either acrylics or oils, while working outdoors outdoors along the banks of the Oshawa Creek and in the vicinity.
