With the addition of three sponsors, golfers will have the opportunity to win - many prizes for their efforts on the course. All par three holes will offer holc-in-onc prizes which include: new 1993 Metro Geos, cruises, airline 2i tickets, golf vacations and more. Six of the best 'D' classification teams in Ontario will be participating, with games ongoing throughout the weekend, at Harvey Jackson Memorial Park in Kendal, and Newcastle Village Memorial Park; Last year, Kendal qualified for the All-Ontario 'D' tournament in Courtright, where they reached the semi-finals before being eliminated. •eeeeeeeeee SLO PITCH TOURNEY -- The Bowmanville Panasonic Oldtimcrs will be hosting a Parks and Recreational Mixed Slo Pitch tournament on Friday, July 16 and Saturday, July 17 at the Ontario Hydro Diamond. The Bowmanville Pagans face Port XL in fastball action at the Recreation Complex diamonds at 8:30 p.m., while down at Soper Creek Park, the Bowmanville Falcons will be under the lights against Cobourg for a 7:30 p.m. start.
