Dr. Audrey Armour, one of six members of the Siting Task Force, Low-level Radioactive Waste Management, Management, brought detailed information information and came to explain the current status of the Co-operative Siting Process Process to Mr. Mills. Currently the Task Force is in Phase Four of a five phase process. "Although this process is lengthy, I believe that it should, with the continued continued support of the federal government, government, result in the best outcome for the environment as well as for the people of the affected communities," added Mr. Mills. Call 1-800-665-5713 Police Forces Create Exchange Program The Durham Regional Police Service Service has entered into an inter-service exchange program with the Lindsay OPP Detachment and the York Regional Regional Police. Each exchange will involve involve an officer from each Service and will last for 6 months. The program program began on May 31,1993. Durham Constable Angela Lette- rio will serve in Newmarket in place of York Constable Mark Duvall, who reported to 17 Division Oshawa. Durham Durham Police Sergeant Dean Campbell has been posted to the Lindsay OPP Detachment in exchange for Sergeant Bob McManus of the Newcastle OPP. The Inter-Jurisdictional Exchange Program has been introduced with the intention of fostering better relations relations between Police Services. The officers with the Durham Regional Police will be cycled through various programs within the department to give them an overview of different policing practices. Both officers involved from Durham Durham Regional Police volunteered for the exchange, and with the agreement of both Police Services, the agreement agreement may be extended.
