The First Hampton Sea Scouts picked the right time for an outing. The eight young men and their supervisors supervisors spent their weekend travelling the waterways on a houseboat. They started at Bridgenorth. Their destination, destination, the Peterborough lift locks. The Scouts left for their journey on Thursday and all arrived home safely on Sunday. Of course, they were in excellent hands. Leader Fred Ford has trained in navigation and safety. The houseboat trip has become an annual annual event. It provides a wonderful learning environment packed with lots of fun. What better way to create lasting memories! Wednesday's Euchre card party had some fine results. Ruth Farrow had the highest of 82. Doreen Fcrgu- sori and Ruth Tink tied for second with scores of 79. Next was Art Compton with 77. These were closely closely followed by Fred Watson with 76. The night's Most Honest Player was Jessie Edwards. Ruth Tink had the Most Lone Hands with five. No one won the Special. The Draw winners were Ace Richards, Muriel Butson, Vema Robinson and Alvin Mann. Students for Hampton Junior Public Public School enjoyed an all day Track and Field last week. This was held at the M.J. Hobbs fields. The V.I.P. (Values, Influences, Peers) program was its usual success. A special V.I.P. Graduation will be held Wednesday, June 16th. at 7:30 p.m. A sure sign that summer is here is ' the Joint United Church Services. Hampton will host for Sunday, June 20th and 27th and July 4. Convention on Friday, October 22nd. It will be held at the Howard Johnson this year. The final discussion of the "plaque" were had. The Hampton W.I. will erect a plaque in lieu of the red maple that was donated by them. This tree was planted by the pond. Sara started the meeting and Scott read the minutes then Penny told us that we were going to go around back and judge cows. We all ventured out behind Penny's bam. We judged the cows and after Jeff said his official placing. We talked about how we would judge the cows if they had calves. We all assembled in front of Penny's bam and Jeff showed us the different ways to trim and cut his 4-H calf for showmanship at a fair. After everybody had a turn to trim part of Jeff's calf we assembled assembled in Penny's garage to talk about our next meeting. It's at Gerry Cornish's Cornish's house, at 7:30 - 9:00. She brought her daughter Kathy Peters, and husband .Bill Peters, Peters, and their two daughters, Erin and Kathy, whom Mrs. Lewko hadn't seen. Anne lives in Rochester and Peters Peters live in Texas. The daughters arc 4 1/2 and 21/2 years old. On Sunday the Garden Hill Sunday Sunday school held their anniversary "Two Foundations". Little Charlene Bailey sang Jesus Love Me. Alter the opening scripture and prayer, the first lesson was read by Lesley Sherman. The children's minute minute was by Faye Kennedy about two houses, one built on sand and one on rock and how the wind blew, and the one on sand flew all over, but the other other one O.K. Another lesson was read by Barbie Sherman. The Sunday School sang a couple of numbers. We sang the Lord's prayer. Susan Peacock had a story with actions about the two houses. Kevin Embury sang a solo, All things bright and beautiful. The Sunday School awards and promotions were given out by Rose McMurray and Faye Kennedy. A duct was played by Karen Harris and Betty Taylor on flute. After the program program we went to the basement and had hot dogs, coffee and juices, cake 1 and ice-cream which was enjoyed by all. Next Sunday is Elizabethville anniversary anniversary at 3 o'clock. Our U.C.W. meeting is at Ken and Bertha Trews home tomorrow.
