Reverend Nancy Knox grew up on a farm near Solina and holds fond memories of the area. Although the Rev. Knox has been away for more than a dozen years (earning degrees and ministering to an assortment of charges in Ontario and the west), she seems pleased to see that Bowmanviile is much the way she remembers it. "It's still a nice, small town." It's perfect, she says, for her and her husband, Carl Schenk. "We were hoping to find a community community where we could feel at home - where we could walk down the main street and sec people we know." Reverend Knox was ordained in 1980.
