They won the league and tournament championships. Head coach Chuck -Rout and his assistants, Mike Dymarski, Sandy Luke and Mark Street, put many hours in for practices and games to produce a winning team that went the whole season with only one loss. The team s efforts and the coaches' teaching strategy were quite noticeable in the year-end tournament. The girls left the very best to the last when everyone played a very exciting and skillful last game of the tournament. The result was a 15-7 victory over Stutt's Pharmacy and the gold medal. This particular game showed all in attendance the equal balance of hitting, pitching and defence that Chuck has worked for all summer. John Lammers led Durham TV's explosive offence with six goals and two assists. Other goal-scorers for Durham TV included Jake Balson and Brandon Brandon Murphy who had two apiece. Singles went to Jamie Whitehead, Daniel Sullivan and Derek Van Heuvelen. Kevin Weeks had three assists, while Michael Leslie and Daniel Sullivan had one each. M. Best scored all four goals for Tim's Rental. This week, John Woolner bowled a 204 game, Terry Fisher bowled a 214 game.
