8 The Canadian Statesman, Bowmanville, Wednesday, December 22,1993 Section Two Letters to Santa Claus from Knox Christian School Christmas is about someone's special special birth and joy for his name was Jesus, a wonderful little boy. One night his parents had to leave Bethlehem because the king wanted every newborn child in the country killed. When Jesus was big and strong he died for all our sins. Three days later he rose from the dead and went to spend time with his father up in heaven. By Joshua Perry age: 10 Grade 4 Knox C.S. Christmas Thoughts I hope that at Christmas time I can see my brother again and that he can come home from B.C. and visit my family so we can all get together with my friends and family. I hope to share for Christmas my thoughts of how much I enjoy it when my friends and family can come over; so that we can play games and sing together. I hope that we can first all open gifts, then I can play a song on the piano piano and then we can cat. After all of that they will go home. By: Rachel Vanderheyden Grade 4 Knox C.S. I am Mary and an Angel came to Joseph and then Joseph came to me and said you will be having a baby and you will call his name Jesus. Jesus. I was glad well at this time people people were going to the places where they were bom. Joseph said to me that he was going to take me where he lived when he was young because I was pregnant and he did not want me to stay by myself. We packed up and we left. The journey was long but we made it to Bethlehem, that's where Joseph was bom. Then we came to an inn but it was full. Not even two people could fit. But then a man came to us and said, "I have got a place for you." It was in a stable and he said, "I hope you like this place." We did not have 'anything else so we took it and said thank you. Joseph had to clean it and the man brought us water and clean hay and then at night I had a baby. We had to call his name Jesus because he is the son of God! The End By Ashley Gr.3 Knox C.S.
