With only five games remaining in the regular season, Bowmanvilic has all but assured itself of the number number one ranking. There is little left to discuss there. We couldn't be speaking of anyone other than the Bobcaygcon Bullets, when they come to town for the game on Sunday, January 23. As it stands now, Bobcaygcon will likely be the first round playoff opponent of Bowmanvilic as well. LEAGUE DROPS A TEAM -- The Newcastle Men's Town League, which operates on Sunday nights, has been reduced from six to five teams for the remainder of the schedule. A declining number of players showing up for one of the teams forced the league to drop them from the schedule. The remaining five teams will finish the season, and then enter a round robin playoff series to decide a league champion.
