Volleyball Team Captures Gold Medal Members of the co-ed volleyball team from Enniskillen Public were all smiles while showing off their gold medals at the Wotten Invitational tournament held in Courtice on February 11. This is being accomplished in a new, exciting tournament format with the overall winner being hailed the true Lake Ontario Salmonmas- ter. In the interest of conservation, each entrant will be able to enter one Chinook (King) Salmon per day, weighing a minimum of 20 pounds. All other species of trout and salmon do not qualify in the Salmonmasters Tournament Series. The Salmonmasters Tournament Series consists of six individual seven-day seven-day tournament events, and a one-day tournament final. The 1994 Salmonsmasters weigh-in centers are located at Bluffers Park Marina, Scarborough, and the historic Scout House, Port Credit. The top ten competitors from each of the six events will advance to the Salmonmasters Tournament final event held on August 27. The competitor catching die heaviest fish on that day will take the tide and prizes. In addition, the final event competitor who catches a fish which corresponds with a randomly- selected confidential weight will win $100,000 cash. Over $200,000 in cash and prizes are available to be won in the 1994 Salmonmasters. The field is limited to 4,000 anglers. The odds of winning winning have never been better.
