A further advantage to leasing is that it doesn't affect your line of credit, If you purchased a new vehicle and financed it, it could affect your ability to secure credit for other purchases, An important consideration is the GAP factor, should you be unfortunate enough to have an SSiS accident, you won't be stuck with the depreciated value of the car (what you owe) and the amount your insurance company will pay you. Keep in mind lire convenience factor in that you don't have the worry and bother associated with financing such ns shopping new car prices or disposing of your used vehicle when you're ready for a new one. There arc flexible terms available to suit your monthly budget and don't overlook the possible tax advantages. The cost of leasing a vehicle for 3 years works out to about the same monthly cost as financing for 5 years so that if you traded every 3 years, your vehicle would always bo covered by factory warranty. l'or more Information I can be reached at Cowan Pontluc-lluick 905- 623-3396. i------«am Whiz Kids Lace Up Rusty Blades for 25 Year Reunion Game Against Ajax The Reunion Game between the 1968-69 Bowmanville Whiz Kids and Ajax Spartans was a huge success this past Saturday. Orono Atoms Advance to Playoffs Against Ops After eliminating Sunderland by winning three straight, Orono's OMHA Atoms entry, Family Auto Sales, hosted Ops Flames on Friday, February 18, for game one of their six-point series. Ops had surprisingly knocked off Minden in a hard-fought, four-point series that went three games. In the two previous season encounters with the Flames, Orono emerged with two identical 4-1 victories. Orono proved once again that they had Ops' number, as they coasted to a 2-0 win. Although they weren't tested too often, the goal tending tandem of Scott Poole and Ryan Leddy rose to the occasion and shared equally in the shutout. Coach Witheridge was quoted as saying the team skated adequately for the win, but they have to bear down if they expect to advance further further in the playoffs. Centre Tyler Robinson got Orono's Orono's first goal and the eventual winner winner early in the first period. Winning the faceoff deep in the Flames' end, Robinson skated in and snapped a rising wrist shot to the short side at 8:06, unassisted. Family Auto's play sagged a bit in a scoreless middle frame as shots were even at three apiece. Captain Bob Witheridge got Orono's Orono's insurance marker at 6:37 of the final period on a Brandon Kettela rebound. The play started on another another faceoff in Ops' end when centre centre Greg Shetler cleanly won the draw back to Kettela who one-timed the shot. The final shots on goal were Family Auto 19, Flames 9. Ice Shavings -- Winger Ryan Tresise is out for the remainder of the season with a broken collarbone. He injured it at school.
