A major brawl involving players and coaches from both teams empted with 13:01 left in the second period in game three of this bitterly-contested bitterly-contested league championship series between Bowmanville and Port Perry. When the hostilities subsided, 12 players (six from each team) and two coaches (one from each team) were ejected for their part in the punch-up. Overshadowed by the boxing matches is the fact that it was Bowmanville Bowmanville who answered the bell in this game.
