Rotary Club Honors Volunteer with Paul Harris Fellowship The Rotary Club of Bowmanville has named a retired teacher from Bowmanville as 1994 Citizen of the Year. Mary Tillcock is seen above as she accepts a Paul Harris Fellowship certificate and pin from Club President Joe Sweet (right) and Harry Cooke. Since her retirement in 1979, Mary Tillcock has been extremely active in the community. She has freely given her time to her church, the Red Cross and the Bowmanville Figure Skating Club in addition to her extensive involvement with the Canadian Cancer Society. PARENTAL AWARENESS GROUP PLANNED - A group is being organized in Bowmanville to address the need for change in the school system.
