After a long absence of baseball at the senior level in Bowmanville, Cormier was instrumental in beginning beginning the team last year. The team will be looking to improve on the 5- 19 record they posted last season. In the EOBA playoffs, Bowmanville Bowmanville won the opening game of their best-of-three series against Belleville. Belleville. But losses in the final two games eliminated them from further play. This season, a divisional format has been designed for league games. Bowmanville will be in the Eastern Division along with Kendal, Port Hope, Peterborough and Belleville. Six teams, Orillia, Whitby, Little Britain, Ajax, Scarborough and Markham will comprise the Western Division. Each team will play four games against teams in their own division, and a home-and-home series with each team in the other division.
