The NEWAC Invitational was a one-day competition involving 130 swimmers from Aurora, Pickering, Lindsay, Markham, Port Hope and Çlarington. Twenty-four different events were swam, with additional breakdown into boys and girls as well as age groups (8 and under, 9 +10, 11+12, 13+14, 15 and over).
