Car Club Plans Autofest More Than 300 Classics at Show Durham Region is getting ready for the largest auto show to ever come its way. The Motor City Car Club, in celebration of its 35th anniversary anniversary and the region's 20th anniversary, anniversary, have been applying the elbow elbow grease to bring together Celebrate Celebrate Durham '94 Autofest. On Sunday, August 28th, custom, vintage, street rod, and pro-street autos autos from all over Canada and the United States will be showing off their goods at the General Motors of Canada Administration Building. It is expected that over 300 pre-1974 vehicles vehicles will be on display for the public public to admire. Major Corporate sponsors have come forward with substantial support support for the event. A multitude of prizes will be up for grabs amongst those vehicles that catches the eye. As well, there will be on-sitè entertainment entertainment and free give-aways for the public to enjoy. Anyone with a classic beauty sitting sitting in the garage can still be part of the festivities. Pre-registrants are eligible eligible to win a Clarion CD car stereo system, a 5 ft. roll-around upper and lower cabinet compliments of Gray Tools or a trip for two to Las Vega, compliments of Marlin Travel.
