Well-known to many of us, she brought a splendid array of knowledge, of "Preparing for your show." Waterfowl Viewing Days Scheduled For April 10and 17 Spring has arrived in Durham Region Region and the waterfowl are industrious industrious at Second Marsh in Oshawa. To help bird enthusiasts and those new to feathers, McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve will be hosting Waterfowl Viewing Days again this year. This event proved a big success in 1993. In conjunction with "Celebrate Durham Durham '94" McLaughlin Bay Wildlife Reserve hopes for an even bigger success for this year's fowl friends. Viewing stations will be established established on Colonel Sam Dr., at Harmony Harmony Bridge. As well, birders can follow the trail off of the General Motors west parking lot to the viewing viewing platform at the cast side of Second Second Marsh. Both of these areas will be staffed by volunteer experts in wetlands and waterfowl identification from the Durham Region Field Naturalists Naturalists and the Pickering Naturalists clubs. Stations will operate from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday April 10 and Sunday April 17. Everyday at the marsh is different and fascinating so plan to attend both Sundays with the whole family. At the Heber Down Conservation Area in Whitby, anxious tykes can grab their baskets and join the hunt for special treats left by the Easter Bunny.
