The Dennis Pizzeria Minor Novice Novice Toros would like to thank Eagles' Eagles' manager Mike Laing and the Bowmanville Eagles for a night that will not be forgotten. In front of a capacity crowd, the baby bulls were introduced by name and skated to center ice for the national national anthem as the Jr. C squad recognized recognized the All-Ontario accomplishment accomplishment of the baby bulls. As the boys stood at attention with the Eagles and the Napanee Raiders' starting lineups, smiles were from ear to ear. It was a proud moment for the boys to have their hard work acknowledged in this manner. The only sad part of the evening was when the Raiders scored in overtime to tie the series. The Toros wish the Eagles all the best in their All-Ontario quest, and thanks again. This Easter weekend is of special importance to the baby bulls as they beat Aurora two games to stay alive in the Streetsville tournament. The Aurora team had a great year, only losing four games all year. All four losses were to the baby bulls. The first contest was a close game won by Bowmanville 3-2. The second game was very exciting and was one of the best games the team has played all year as they won 5-2 after coming from behind two goals. They will meet Vaughan April 1 for a game in Streetsville. If the boys continue on their winning winning way, the team will be very busy on Easter Sunday as they play Clarkson at Maple Leaf Gardens, game time 10 a.m. for the Timmy Tyke final. If all goes to plan, the boys will be back in Streetsville for a 3:30 p.m. final. This could be a fantastic way for the team to wrap up their storybook season. The baby bulls would like to congratulate congratulate the NewcasUe Novices on their All-Ontario win over Tweed, and for a fantastic winning season. Many of the boys will join forces to form a soccer team to be reckoned with this summer. Good luck, and keep up the good work. Keep smiling and have fun. PER MONTH/36 MONTHS
