Her ballot was one of over 30 correct answers from which the winner's name was drawn. She received $50 in Downtowner Bucks to spend at a downtown shop bearing the BIA symbol. Retirement Tea to Honor Librarian at Senior Public A retirement tea for Ken Weller, resource librarian at Bowmanville Senior Public School, will take place on Wednesday, June 15th. The tea is from 3:30 to 7 p.m. in the Bowmanville Senior Public School Resource Centre. All parents and former students are welcome. Mr. Weller began his teaching career 38 years ago, at Pen ville School, in Tecumseth Township. He then taught at Ontario Street Public School, in Bowmanville, for 12 years. He spent the past 20 years at Bowmanville Senior Public, where he was active in many facets of the school's activities. He has taught English, history, geography, and math. Most recently, he served as resource librarian and the well-equipped resource centre at the school is a tribute to his skills. Through his efforts in fundraising, fundraising, Mr. Weller has raised thousands thousands of dollars for school projects. He also arranged school trips, developed developed courses of study and was always always a strong supporter of his fellow fellow staff.
