You will enjoy not only the work of several famous Ontario artists, but also the uniquely beautiful log residence. The show takes place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a voluntary $1 entry fee, which will be donated to tiré Salvation Army in Bowmanville. The home which is the setting for the exhibition is at 6 Andelwood Cl, off Old Scugog Rd. DURHAM GRADUATION - The convocation ceremonies for Durham College will take place at the Oshawa Civic Auditorium. The Health and Human Studies and Technology grads will receive their diplomas at the 10:30 a.m. ceremony. Ceremonies for Business and Arts and Administration graduates will take place at 2:30 p.m. SUNDAY, JUNE 12 MUSEUM FUND RUN - Bowmanville Museum will hold its eighth annual 10 kilometre Fund Run Sunday, June 12th. An added feature this year is a 10 kilometre walk. SUNDAY SCHOOL MARKS 150TH ANNIVERSARY -- The 150th anniversary of the Ebenezer Sunday School will be celebrated in an anniversary service which begins at 11 a.m. To mark the occasion, the Sunday School is creating a commemorative landscaping project. Fourteen different nurseries, landscape firms, local suppliers and contractors have contributed towards the garden which is to be located along the north side of the church. MONDAY, JUNE 13TH COUNCIL MEETING HELD IN SOLINA -- Clarington Council voted earlier this spring to hold a few of its regularly-scheduled council sessions at various locations in the Wards Two and Three. There will be a council meeting in Solina Community Hall at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 13th. The public is encouraged to drop in, meet the Clarington Council and municipal staff, and also see their municipal councillors in action. TUESDAY, JUNE 14TH REGISTRATION FOR ADULT EDUCATION - There's still time to sign up for classes at the Centre for Individual Studies in Maple Grove. The school offers a wide variety of programs for adult learners. These include high school credit courses* adult basic literacy and English as a second language. The subjects include desktop publishing, accounting, sciences, and many other high school courses. Registration takes place at the school (2226 Maple Grove Rd. N.) from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. EPILEPSY DURHAM HOSTS FAMILY NIGHT - Rob Pearson, a forward with the Toronto Maple Leafs last year, will be a special, guest at the Epilepsy Durham Family Night. It takes place in the Kinsmen Centre on Colbome St., Oshawa, at 6:30 p.m. Activities will include a performance by the "Kids on the Block" puppet troupe, face-painting, clowns, and much more. THURSDAY, JUNE 16TH WORLD'S BIGGEST SIDEWALK SALE - He downtown Bowmanville merchants will host "The World's Biggest Sidewalk Sale June 16, 17 and 18. This year, each merchant has been invited to decorate his or her store to represent a particular country. And there are many special events, including a hoedown, pancake breakfast, and band concert. HOSPITAL'S NEW CHAPLAIN INTRODUCED - Clergy and community members are welcome to attend the annual meeting of the Pastoral Services Advisory Committee which is scheduled for Wednesday, June 22. The meeting is at 7:30 p.m. in the hospital chapel. Guest speaker for the evening will be the hospital's new chaplain.
