It's also time to reflect with family and friends on our nation's 127-year heritage. Canadian Tire has been part of this heritage for over 70 years. We've been there when you suited up for practice, maintained the family car and decorated your new home. Whether it's a first bike, windshield wipers or shiny new tools, Canadian Tire has always been the one to count on. And because you count on us, you've helped us support Canadian business. That makes us feel great. So does the pride our Dealers and Associates take in serving their customers and communities. They're independent business people right in your own neighbourhood, with the same vested interest in the community as your own. We work closely with our Canadian manufacturers, who make it possible for us to deliver high quality, competitively priced products and, at the same time, encourage the growth of Canadian jobs. We're the only retailer of our kind with "Canada" in our name. It's that way for a reason. Canadian Tire stores are 100 per cent Canadian-owned and operated, committed to supporting Canadian companies from coast-to-coast through the products we sell. What it comes down to is this. Our 70-year history of working with Canadians for Canadians speaks for itself. It's this commitment to a Canadian way of life that has brought us this far. Others can make claims.
