The non-betting events for two year olds go at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday Thursday and Saturday. Pacers race on Thursday while Trotters contest the Saturday race. Provincial Volleyball Team Has Two Clarke Students Horseshoe Tournament On Sunday afternoon, June 26th, the 5th Annual 'Buck and Jim' horseshoe tournament was held on the three pits behind the homes of Don Cowle and Jim Conboy, north of Newcastle. This year's tournament will be held in Sherbrooke, Quebec on July 30-31, 1994. Ontario is quite proud of its accomplishment accomplishment in the sport of Volleyball. Volleyball. In last year's Canada Games, the Men's team went undefeated to win, for the first time,, the Gold medal medal at that event. Two players from that team were selected for this year's squad: Daryl Reid (Qrono) and Rob Janson (Ottawa). Players from all over Ontario were selected for this year's teams which shows the incredible development development of the sport all over the province province (see rosters included). As part of the training program, both teams will spend a week in Cuba (home of the Olympic Champions Champions in Women and the runner up in the World League in Men's) to leam the tricks of Latin volleyball to get ready to face the other Canadian provinces plus the Italian Junior National National Team, special guest for this year's NTCC tournament.
