Although attendance was down slightly, President President Gerald Brown and wife Shirley and committee saw to it the welcome and camaraderie were never finer. The smorgasbord was abundant and delicious and enhanced by the yummy yummy white hots brought and barbecued, barbecued, as usual, by Art Dalbert from Rochester, New York. The children enjoyed games, contests contests and a 'cat and mouse'. They participated in a candy scramble and were pleased with their prizes. Thanks were extended to Linda Sargent, Sargent, Tim and Michael. Gerald conducted the business portion reminding the executive they complete their 2 year term next year. He expressed special appreciation to secretary Laurie Goodwin for the attractive attractive and professional invitations this year. Ella Bowman related a few of the highlights of her and sister sister Myrtle Tamblyn's visit last September September to Cornwall England where a few years ago they had a Tamblyn family reunion attended by 500 relatives. relatives. Not only did they appreciate the quaint beauty and history of the county but the warm welcome of cousins and the opportunity to study the family tree. At David Tamblyn's home was a stone wall recorded in the Doomsday Book. Ed Millson brought greetings and a humourous story from Glenn Tamblyn Tamblyn Victoria, B.C. who had his plane ticket to come but was kept home by illness. All too soon a perfect day came to an end and we were saying, "See you next year, same place, same time." They figure they will need 250 million nuts a year to produce the drug. A'U.S. study has found that 50% of Americans have had a mental or emotional disorder disorder by the age of 55. Only one in four sought help. The main problems were depression, alcoholism and phobias. When kids congregate in places like in day-care centers, infections like impetigo, chickenpox, skin infections and warts sometimes spread. Best way to prevent this spread is proper washing of the hands. This applies to adults as well. Many of the infections are spread from hands to mouth and nose.
