The Board of Governors of Oshawa General Hospital is pleased to announce the election of Bruce Mackey, Q.C. as Chair. Mr. Mackey, whose family were long time residents of Whitby, was bom at Oshawa General Hospital. He has been a member of the Board of Governors since 1984 and served as the Board's Vice-Chair from 1992- 94. He is a partner in the law firm of Mackey, Bailey and Korb of Oshawa, and holds a B.A. from the University of Toronto and a LL.B from York University. First Graduates of Business Leaders Program Announced The first fourteen graduates of a unique Partnership Training Program -- The Business Leadership Certificate Certificate Program -- received their level one certificates this week. General Motors of Canada and the Canadian Manufacturers' Association Association arc corporate co-sponsors of the program which involves Durham, Niagara, Niagara, Sir Sandford Fleming and St. Clair Colleges of Applied Arts and Technology and the University of Waterloo.
