The study will investigate the development of a computer system linking health care organizations. It would act as a clearing house for information regarding regarding patients. The chair of the study committee is Clarington Councillor Mary Novak and she is pictured pictured above as she receives the cheque from Memorial Hospital Vice President, Eric Hanna. "The next step is to establish the network that will link the full spectrum of health care organizations, helping them to provide more responsive services and reduce costs," said the MPP Gord Mills. A1 lived most of his life in Bethesda, moving to Bowmanvillc a few years ago. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Bethesda Cemetery, with its well kept grass and shrubs and all the flowers honouring the dead, seemed to be like a garden for the Decoration Day service. The Draw winners were Ncrta Masters, Masters, Agnes DcMille, Ruby Smith, Meta Swain and Aileen Turner. The Youth Group had its first meeting after the summer holidays. Police Seeking Help After Hit-and-Run Accident in Oshawa On Saturday, August 27th, 1994 at approximately 8:40 p.m., a 24- year-old Oshawa man was riding his bicycle south on Park Road South ' about 100 metres north of Cordova Road when he was hit by what has been describe as a van. This vehicle then left the scene, travelling southbound. southbound. The cyclist was dragged several metres on the asphalt and then the suspect vehicle left the scene. The victim was taken to Oshawa General Hospital where he has been detained with facial laceration and serious serious leg problems. The vehicle is described as a full- sized van with a square box. There is a possibility that it was a dark colour, possibly green. Anyone with any information on the person responsible for this hit and collision or where this van can be found is asked to call the Durham Regional Regional Police at 905-579-1520 Ext. 327 or Crime Stoppers at 905-436- 8477.
