Robert Francis (Frank) Peter The death of Robert Francis (Frank) Peter, from cancer, occurred in White Rock, B.C., on Sunday, July 24,1994. Bom in Haileybury, Ontario in 1921, he was the son of Francis (Frank) Peter and Mabel Frances Golding Summerby. Educated at the Haileybury School of Mines, he pursued a career in mining (metallurgy) and lived and mined in Timmins, before and after four years service with the Royal Canadian Canadian Engineers in W;W. 2. He also mined in South Porcupine, Elliott Lake, Toquepala, Pem, Ireland and Matagami, Quebec.
