The nicest I can remember in a long time. There were lots of great costumes. The presence of the Rogers Rogers Cable van is always appreciated. The Wednesday Euchre Card Party Party had a slew of winners. Bernice Renton had the highest score of 92. Richard Potter was second with his score of 81. Next was Ruth Tink with 77. This was followed by Ace Richards Richards with 76 and Loma Swain with 74. The evening's Most Honest Player wits Verna Robinson. Ruth Tink had the Most Lone Hands of six. No one won the Special. The Draw winners were Ruby Smith, Fred Griffin, Ada Richards, Lloyd Broome and Agnes Schofield. This past Sunday the Hampton and Eldad Churches were conducted by U.C.W. On November 2nd the Hampton Stewards met in the Centennial Centennial Room at 7:30 p.m. This coming coming Sunday, November 6th, will be a special Remembrance Day Service. TOPS stands for "Take Off Pounds Sensibly". The local chapter meets every every Tuesday at the Hampton United Church. TOPS #ON 850 (Hampton) currently has a membership of about 35. Silver Anniversary for Hampton TOPS On Tuesday evening, October 25th, TOPS WON 850, Hampton, celebrated celebrated the club's silver anniversary. The Hampton group received its charter charter on October 23, 1969. The founder of the club was Shirley Gordon and the meetings were first held in her home, with approximately 10 members. members. Three of the present members have been in the club for the past 25 years . TOPS #ON 850 Hampton meets every Tuesday evening at the church with weigh-ins from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. Meetings start at 6:45 p.m. TOPS stands for "Taking Off Pounds Sensibly." Sensibly."
