Holds Hampton Fun Fair At a recent meeting of Jerusalem Masonic Lodge #31, Bro. Jim Rees was presented with a Masonic award in recognition of his 100 plus donations of blood and platelets. Beavers Part of SkyDome Sleep-Over 10th Bowmanville Beavers are going going to be taking part in a rather unique experience the weekend of November 26-27. A sleep over at the SkyDome with 10,000 other Beavers from all across Canada. The Beavers will be sleeping on the floor of the dome. Entertainment is being provided by Eric Nagler and others also they will attempt to build the world's largest Beaver Dam out of paper towel rolls. The whole event is to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the formation of Beavers. They have been selling chocolate bars and calendars all over town and would like to thank anyone who bought some. Durham West District Women's Institute held their annual Fun Fair October 13th with registering at 1:30 p.m. Hosting the event was Providence Providence Shaws. A change from previous years of skits and readings was the variety of table games available for the ladies to engage in. Several ladies were winners winners of lucky draws.
