Each participant carried a lighted candle during the impressive ceremony, climaxed by the laying of a wreath by Cub Mark Dillon, Beaver Kyle Schmidinger and Scout Ricky Boldt. The Bay Completes Renovations at Oshawa Centre The Bay will offically open its renovated store in the Oshawa Mall on November 23, 1994. President Bob Peter will be at the store at 11:30 a.m. to welcome shoppers. The Oshawa Mall Bay store has been completely renovated to increase the retail selling area and to expand the fashion assortment in keeping with the store's upgraded decor. Over $3.6 million was spent to create a store with all the advantages and variety of a major downtown department department store here in the community-including community-including much more fashion for family and home, said Bob Peter, President of the Bay. "The Bay's strength is fashion at the right price, and now our new store can better serve our customers, who come to our stores looking for a fashion and a price advantage." The Bay continues to emphasize the fashion advantage of its assortment which sets it apart from other department stores. "The Bay at Oshawa Mall will be the best place to shop for fashion in the area," says Kevin Bennett, Store Manager. "When customers enter our store, they will step into a new world of fashion.
