It takes just minutes to create an elegant gift from simple materials. RIBBON ORNAMENTS A handmade tree ornament is a wonderful hostess gift. Using strips of fabric or ribbon, make a pretty star ornament by stitching strips in different different colors and widths on a fabric square. Draw a star pattern and pin it to the ribboned fabric. Cut out two and stitch together. Fill with stuffing (available at craft and dime stores) and add a satin ribbon loop for hanging. PICTURE PERFECT Give new parents or grandparents grandparents a favorite photograph in a faux finish frame. It's easy to enhance inexpensive plastic or wood frames with Formby's Pearl, Marble or Granite Decorative Touches Finish. WRAPPED UP It doesn't have to cost a fortune to custom-decorate your gifts. Simply buy plain, colored matte wrapping paper, then spray it with a Gold or Silver Marble Highlights Finish. Wrap all your presents with the same paper to surround your tree with shimmering reflections. TASTY TREATS Bake a batch of Christmas cookies and pack them in a special tin of your own making. All you need are ordinary ordinary tins you "might find at a thrift shop or yard sale. Finish each one with faux Marble spray to create a new finish.
