Newcastle GO = (beside 2E Gruffies) Durham TV 'B' Champs Durham TV marched into Vaughan, Vaughan, capturing the 'B' Championship in the tyke division. They played a strong three games, despite missing four players. In the first game, a strong performance performance by Ralph Hamelinck in goal helped capture a big win. Game and tournament MVP Alex Henderson had two of the three goals, with help by his wingers David Ross and Ryan Wilbur. In game two, the team suffered a loss, despite a strong performance by game MVP Kurds Salway, goalie Derek Vanderweer, Alex Smith and Kyle Hill, who played their best games of the year. The team was pumped up for the championship game. Durham TV played a strong game, winning 6-3 over an equally tough Collins Barrow / team. Game MVP Brian Corcoran played a strong game, assisting on two „ goals. Good goaltending by Brian Sel- lars helped fend off a strong second period attack by Collins Barrow. Two goals early in the third helped a tired Durham TV to victory. The team wouldn't have been a success without the strong defensive play of Kevin Withers and Justin Le- pine. Special thanks to the city of Vaughan Minor Hockey Association for a well-run tournament. ********************************** WMANVULE CINE GREAT PARTIES START HERE BIG CHRISTMAS PARTY EVERY SATURDAY IN DECEMBER Start with Grand Christmas ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET and then dance until the wee' hours Check out our special Christmas beverages For Reservations Call 623-3373 Book your office parties now (2 - 200 people) 401 & Liberty St., Bowmanville ©j book your office parues now Flying Dutchman STARTS FRIDAY, DECEMBER 9TH I Just can't wait TO BE KING!
