Here, Curator Charles Taws talks about toys, decorating, decorating, food and about how the Jury family would have spent their Christmas in the house. The Bowmanvillc Bowmanvillc Museum, the fonner Jury home, is decked out in cedar, cones, and oilier Christmas finery which helps to set the mood for the talks. Afterwards the children were treated to a Christmas Carol sing-along. As the students left, Taws wished them a 'Merry Christmas' and passed out small candy canes. Public Invited to Reception In Honor of American Artist An exhibition of paintings and sculptures by American artist Laura Van Vcchtcn Davis will open at the Robert McLaughlin Gallery on January January 5. The public is invited to meet the artist at a reception to be held on Sunday, January 22,2- 4 p.m. The exhibition features a selection selection of the artist's work - still life, figure and portrait paintings, as well as recent sculptures.
