Members Celebrate Festive Season SCOUTS WIN FLAG AT INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION - The 11th Bowmanville Scouts attended Scout Haven Camp near Buffalo in August and came away with this flag for being the top troop. Forty-six scouting outfits from northeast United States and southern Ontario participated in the summer games. Scouts competed in swimming races, knot tying, semaphore signalling and fire lighting. lighting. The Anna Unit was in charge of the program. After a Christmas Worship Worship Service, the Intermediate Girls Choir, under the direction of Rosemary Rosemary Merkley sang several Christ-- mas selections for us. The girls sang beautifully and were much appreciated. We also were pleased to have Madeline (Merkley) Ottorino with us. Madeline has recorded a Christmas tape and record entitled " A Dream Filled Christmas" and she sang several- Christmas pieces for us including several from her recording. Madeline has a beautiful voice and wc were pleased and proud to have her back at her home church to sing for us.
