Last Monday Miss Candy Storks and her mother, Pauline, went to Peterborough Peterborough to visit the Kawartha Children's Aid Society facility. On Wednesday Reverend Bonnie Kelly and Candy Storks returned to Keewatin and Fort Frances. On January 6,1995, euchre games were enjoyed at Newtonville Hall. Weekend visitors with Ben and Narda Hoogkamp were his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Hoogkamp, Fergus. Glenice Eisen, Renfrew, formerly of 115 Mousetrap, spent a few days with Carole and Gary Brunton and also visited Veme and Diana Rowe. Sympathy is extended to relatives and friends of Huibert Vanderstarre who passed away last week. On speaking with Hilda Call we learn that her daughter Joan and husband husband John Jorgensen and son Kyle have moved from Dallas, Texas, to Roseville, California. Hilda is looking looking forward to the day she will, be visiting in California. Police Need Assistance to Solve Sunderland Break-in Crime Stoppers and the Durham Regional Police are asking for the public's help in solving a Break Enter Enter and Theft which occurred in Sunderland Sunderland on Tuesday, March 1st, 1994. Between 9:50 a.m. and 3:25 p.m. the suspects entered a private residence residence on Sideline 17, Concession 6 of Sunderland by kicking the rear door, breaking the frame. Once inside, inside, the suspects locked the family dog in a bedroom and then ransacked the home, opening cupboards and drawers removing items and placing them into their vehicle parked in the driveway. After the vehicle was loaded, loaded, it left the scene southbound on Sideline 17 towards Regional Road 10. Taken from the residence was a Mitsubishi 28" TV, Mitsubishi VCR, Akai Stereo Receiver and Speakers, and a Denon CD Player. Also stolen was a 12" French Mantle Marble Clock built in the late 19th Century plus 5 rifles: a Sportco 12 gauge Shotgun, a Gecado Model 50 Pellet Rifle, a Mossberg Model 500 12 gauge, a Mayser 8mm Sport Rifle and a Coey 22cal Rifle.
