Medical Equipment Recycling Program is pleased to invite the public to the Official Opening of our recycling facility from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, February 2 at Memorial Hospital - Bow- manville. A ribbon-cutting and tour of our facility will take place at 2:15 p.m. Please join us for refreshments refreshments in the main entrance entrance lobby of the hospital. This unique non-profit pro gram began accepting equipment equipment donations last June, and then started to recycle this medical equipment back to the public free of charge. All medical equipment in good condition is currently being being accepted for recycling. The course is designed to prepare volunteer volunteer directors of not-for-profit organizations, and/or those interested interested in becoming directors, to fully and successfully meet the demands of being a Board member. "Preparedness" will lead to an understanding of the following following issues and concepts: the responsibilities responsibilities attached to being a Board Member (differentiating (differentiating staff and volunteer roles; legal liabilities and responsibilities; responsibilities; fiscal and fund raising obligations; the development and monitoring of policies; planning; public relations; teamwork; during and beyond meetings; and in the whole development development process); the economic economic challenges and changing realities in the not-for-profit sector; the correlation between the individual role as a Director, Director, the role of the organization and the impact on community; how individual skills and abilities abilities can compliment the work of the whole organization; how do desired outcomes, planning and evaluation impact on the work of a Board.
