PUBLIC MEETINGS ON GTA -- A public meeting regarding the proposed Greater Toronto Area (GTA) amalgamation will be held in Bowmanville on Tuesday, February 20th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Bowmanville Town Hall on Temperance Street. The "town-hall" style meeting is being arranged by Durham East MPP John OToole in co-operation with Mayor Diane Hamre. In addition to viewpoints from elected officials there will be opportunity for questions .and comments from the public. Presentations will have a lime limit.
