A CP Rail St. Lawrence and Hudson Railway Simulator will be open to the public on Saturday. The Simulator will be stationed just offRoenigk Dr. (off Waverley) in Bowman ville, and can accommodate between 800 and 900 people a day. Apparently, the Simulator is just like being the engineer at the controls of a real locomotive. LARRY BEWS TOURNAMENT - On April 13 and 14 at the Newcastle Arena, the C.A.W. Skilled Trades Hockey Tournament will be celebrating its 10th anniversary. This tournament tournament is a charity event held in memory of Larry Bews, an electrician fatally injured in an industrial accident at General Motors. The hockey tournament is a family-oriented weekend, with added features such as face-painting and clowns for the kids, a family skate on Sunday, an outdoor BBQ both days, a classic car show, and a lucky draw for a trip to Las Vegas. Admission to the tournament is a non-perishable food item.
