"Green School" program. Learners in Action is a program of the SEEDS Canada Foundation. SEEDS is a not- for-profit foundation committed committed to furthering environmental education in Canada. The program program provides support, organization organization and recognition to schools trying to take action on behalf of the environment. Over 4,000 Canadian schools are working to attain the status of Green Schools. The program encourages school-wide involvement and offers a spirit of success and achievement. The Peterborough, Victoria, Northumberland, and Clarington Roman Catholic Separate School Board averaged averaged 17.5 environmental projects projects per school. The Director of Women's Ministries for the Seventh Day Adventist Church was the guest speaker on Monday, May 6, at an ecumenical dinner for women of the various churches in Clarington. This year's meeting was hosted by the Seventh Day Adventist women and held at the Trinity United Church hall.
