From 11:30 to 11:50 a.m. the Clarington Flute Choir will be playing, led by local resident Lynda Shcwchuk. The ensemble ensemble includes alto flute and piccolo. piccolo. St. Francis Of Assisi Parish News This is a quiet season at Si. Francis of Assisi Parish. A past pastor, Fr. Pat Hcrlihey (1983- 1984) returned at the end of July. He celebrated Masses in Fr. Randy's holiday absence. The search continues for Children's Liturgy instructors to cover both Sunday Masses. Volunteers are responsible for explaining the Word of God to children (age 3 - grade 2) through use of prayers, stories, music and activities. Lesson plans are provided and arc easy to follow. Anyone willing to spare one hour per month for this worthwhile ministry is asked to contact Fr. Randy at 987-5446 as soon as possible.
