Ellis, who was attending her first long course Junior National Championship, performed performed very well, making the consolation final in the 50m freestyle and ranking 14th overall. Limebccr's best ranking was 22nd in the Senior National National 50m freestyle. For all the swimmers in attendance, attendance, the meet had special special significance as the reluming reluming members of the Canadian Olympic swim team were there to answer questions, sign autographs and, of course, compete in their events. For "up and comers" like Ellis and Limcbccr, competing competing with Marianne Limpcrt, Curtis Myden, and the rest of the Olympic team so soon after after their successes in Atlanta was truly inspirational. This competition marks the end of the season for competitive swimmers and they look forward to three weeks of holidays before the next season starts in September. September. Close Game To Tyrone By: Scott Dakin In the final game of the season, season, Aerdon Mechanical went into Tyrone for what was to be a fun game. When it was all over Aerdon came away on the losing side of a 6 to 5 game. This game featured a good pitching performance from Adam Niejadlik over 4 innings allowing only 3 runs while striking out 6. Jarod Shaw also pitched well, allowing only 3 runs while striking out 3. There were also some nice catches from Chris Mackenzie and some nice throws from Kyle Mackenzie at short stop. On the offensive side, Jarod Shaw went 1 for 3, with the one hit being the triple. Chris Mackenzie Mackenzie went 1 for 2 with a stolen base. Also, thanks go to Andrew Andrew Oliver for coming up from mosquito and going 1 for 2 at the plate.
