After three days of scrimmages, scrimmages, the Provincial Jr. A hockey team will play their annual annual Black and While game on Saturday afternoon at 3:30 p.m. at the Newcastle Arena. The game will feature many of the young players hopeful of gamering a spot on the final roster. On Sunday night, the Eagles Eagles will play their first pre- season game when they host the Trenton Sting at the Newcastle Newcastle Arena. Again forward Christie Stevens stepped in to play goal so that keeper Karen Rickard could play on forward. Both demonstrated an ability to play in both positions.
